Scraesdon Warriors won the KOTH 2009 to get promotion to the NSPL Div4 this season. Second place went to Mindful Violence, closely followed by GBH.

The Scraesdon Warriors formed from 5 friends who had originally shared a passion for Woodsball. After some time off from the paintball scene these guys wanted something a bit different, so they entered the rookie division in KOTH at the end of the 2008 season.

With important lessons learned and the basics of tournament paintball understood, the team stepped up to the Novice division in KOTH for a full 2009 season.

How did you find the 2009 season?       

 "Well we won the first Two rounds which put us in a great position from the start, but we found that later on in the season we were being beaten by teams very convincingly that had previously struggled to match us, basically we were being out trained as the season progressed. We were fortunate that the final round was canceled while we still held on at the top." - Cpt Neil Cawse

Any big plans for the NSPL div4 this year? 

"I think for us as a team we have to build on basics that we learnt in KOTH, using the training facilities at UCZ will be essencial to our performance this season, but with Devon Paintball Club now offering pre-match training sessions on the released field, I'm confident we'll be able to hold our own this year."- Andrew MacMillan
